PART B — INFORMATION, TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Objective of the Tournament

  • Promote badminton among the local community.
  • Help increase interest, experience and confidence in the sport.
  • Appeal to community solidarity through the sport of badminton.

2. Participation

  1. Interested parties can register by providing the full information requested in the official registration form (Google Form).
  2. Entry fees can be paid by online banking or ATM deposit to

  3. Entry fees: RM130 per pair (doubles categories), RM70 per player (junior singles categories). Fees are non-refundable once registered.
  4. Maximum entries per category as listed in Part A, Section 2. Subsequent entries may not be entertained even if submitted before the closing date.
  5. Players/pairs are not allowed to change partners after form submission.

 

3. Rules of the Game

  1. Match Format:
    Open Categories:
    R32 & R16: Single Elimination, 30 points
    QF, SF, Finals: Best of 3, 21 points

    Junior Categories:
    R16, QF & SF: Single Elimination, 30 points
    Finals: Best of 3, 21 points

  2. The competition schedule will be posted on the official Facebook/social media page prior to the tournament.
  3. Protest period and fee: 3-day window before the event with a RM300 protest fee per protest.
  4. No protest will be entertained after 10am, 7 November 2026.
  5. Official Shuttlecock: VICTOR NCS MAX
  6. Each match will have an Umpire (and Referee, where applicable) monitoring and controlling the match.
  7. The Umpire has the right to make any decision at any point in the match.

4. Safety & Security

The organizers are not responsible for any untoward incidents, although efforts will be taken to prevent them before, during, or after the tournament.

5. Delay / Injury / Withdrawal

  1. Players are required to report their attendance to the Tournament Referee before their match starts.
  2. Grace period for late players —maximum 5 minutes before a walkover is given.
  3. In case of injury, players may request help at the referee's discretion. Matches involving bleeding injuries will be stopped immediately and may only resume once treated.
  4. The organiser is not responsible for medical fees arising from serious injuries and will provide basic first aid only.

6. Clothing

  • Players may wear any type of suitable and decent sports clothing, however official tournament clothing are preferred.
  • Players are not allowed to wear clothing that is inappropriate or sensitive (e.g., cigarette brands, political parties, liquor, or pornographic images).

7. General Information

  • Each player is responsible for their own transportation, food and drink, discipline, health, and safety.
  • The Organizing Committee is not responsible for players and cannot be prosecuted for management negligence.

8. Conditions of the Competition

  • All Categories: 
    Current and former national/state players; ranked BAM players are restricted.
  • All participants must present valid Identity Card (I.C.) / Passport for verification on tournament day.
  • Match schedule will be released 5 days before tournament. No changes to team/player composition permitted once released
  • All protest(s) will be closed on 10am, 7 November 2026. with evidence requirements —disqualification and no-refund policy to opponents applies once verified. Protest fee of RM 300 will be refunded if successfully verified.

10. Steps to Register

  4. Each pair/player only needs to submit one entry form.
